Their numbers have risen by 918,000 from 9.91 million in January 2012 as more people became underemployed, latest officials figures show. Underemployment, according to the Labor Force Survey of the NSO done last Jan and released March 15, increased to 7.934M from 7.018M.

ANC: Kiram Spokesperson Abraham Idjirani and COPA Chairman Pastor Boy Saycon faced the NBI in its investigation of the Sabah incident. Kiram's lawyer Leonard De Vera was also represent in the meeting which lasted for almost two hours. Kiram reiterated his denial of the conspiracy theory behind the Sabah standoff. Saycon on the other hand is considering FILING CHARGES against Sec Ricky Carandang for 'doing something un-journalistic' before the Ombudsman. Sayscon says, he has information that Carandang was THE ONE who MADE UP the conspiracy theory, and presented it to the president. Sayscon also reveals that their group wrote letters to the government of the U.S., UK, and Brunei for a third party nation to intervene in the Sabah crisis, though they yet to receive a reply.

In its Labor Force Survey, the NSO said there were 2.89 MILLION JOBLESS Filipinos in Janame as the one who lobbied for Lanto's appointment.

"Weather permitting, we hope to strengthen our position as regards rice self-sufficiency, and regain our footing in the export markets by exporting 100 metric tons of high quality rice in 2013," Aquino told the Euro-money Philippines Investment Forum at Peninsula Manila Hotel in Makati. Pres Aquino should have used the business forum to enlighten local and foreign businessmen on government's promise to buld major infrastructure projects and the real reasons why the state was taking a long time to bid them out. Sadly, Mr. Aquino missed this opportunity.

A PDI report earlier said a Navy ship that carried Filipino evacuees from Sabah deliberately slowed down to time its arrival at Bongao, Tawi-Tawi with the arrival of
Roxas. The report said the ship was supposed to dock at 6 a.m. Wed but stopped at mid-sea for about 4 hours Tues night so that it would arrive at the port at 9:30 a.m. Roxas was already at the port when the ship arrived. Roxas has denied asking that the boat's arrival be timed with his visit.
