TABERNA: SA DAVAO. ANG TINDI PALA NG SAGOT. TOTOO BA ITO? ANG SABI DAW NG PANGULO KAY FVR AY MAG-ISYU NG MEMO. DAPAT DAW MAG-MEMO SI FVR SA KANYA KUNG GUSTONG  MAG-ADVICE. ITO PO YUNG BALITA NGAYON HA. ANG GUSTO NG PANGULO AY WRITTEN, AYAW NIYA NG VERBAL. TAMAN NAMAN ANG PANG AQUINO DU'N.

DZIQ: PRESIDENCY (POLITICS) (5:28-6:01 KUMPADRES) COMMENTARY BY ALVIN BARCELONA AND ISA AVENDANO
Terrorism is when a superior force utilizes the air force, navy, army and the police forces to annihilate a force of 200 inferior people whose only action or motives is to defend their beliefs and lives that goes with their rights, now who is the 'terrorist' here Mr. Pres?
PHILSTAR: KL: No ceasefire, wipe out all militants
- Malaysia rejected yesterday a ceasefire offer by Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, with the country's defense minister vowing to "destroy all the militants" unless they surrender "unconditionally." "Don't believe the ceasefire offer by Jamalul Kiram. In the interest of Sabahans and all Malaysians, wipe out all the militants first," Defense Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said on his Tweeter feed.
INQUIRER: Lacson on NBI prove report: I know a rubout when I see one
"I know [a rubout] when I see one," Lacson told reporters on Thursday. He noted that the head of the police operation in Atimonan, Supt. Hansel Marantan, was wounded in the incident. "His injury was rather serious, not just a grazed wound," Lacson said.
--- OOOOPS! kuratong experience????
INQUIRER: KL reports 32 more dead - UN calls for peace; Malaysia shuns sultan ceasefire offer
- Kuala Lumpur on Thursday rejected a ceasefire offer by the sultan of Sulu despite a call from the United Nations for an end to the violence in Sabah that has already cost 60 lives and talks among the parties involved to peacefully settle the dispute over the ownership of the eastern Malaysian state.
INQUIRER EDITORIAL: The decision of the President's spokespersons to allege a conspiracy was especially upsetting. A conspiracy may in fact exist - but no one, not even officials in Malacanang, can raise the specter and then refuse to provide the evidence. The belated explanation that they would wait for proof before going public makes it worse; they should have waited until they had gathered the proof before making the allegation in the first place.
INQUIRER EDITORIAL: When Filipino "drug mules" in China or lawbreakers in Saudi Arabia are sentenced to death, the Philippine government sends a high-ranking official, even the Vice President on occasion, to delay the day of execution or to offer so-called blood money. The unfortunate actions taken by Kiram's followers in Lahad Datu made Malaysia's full-scale military response all but inevitable; they were men (and women) who had invited themselves to their own beheading. But it took the Aquino administration some three weeks before dispatching Foreign Secretary Albert del Rosario to Kuala Lumpur. It is hard to understand this almost lackadaisical approach.
INQUIRER EDITORIAL: We appreciate the President's candor when he said, on at least two earlier occasions that he was studying the Sabah matter in detail and for the first time. But the admission was disturbing just the same. Doesn't the administration have experts, or at least access to those experts, who have studied the matter in depth? This seems like a too-obvious question, but the administration's initial confusion was painful and unsettling to watch and, again, hard to understand.
MLA STANDARD: JOJO ROBLES
Ramos can offer sage advice and counsel to Aquino because of his long experience and direct knowledge of regional and national politics and his friendly ties with longtime Malaysian Premier Mahathir Mohamad. For Aquino to kiss off Ramos' advice smacks of arrogance - especially from a President who has surrounded himself with diplomatic nobodies and political third-stringers.
MLA STANDARD: JOJO ROBLES - Noynoy tells FVR off
- Former Pres Fidel Ramos drew a response from Pres Noynoy Aquino after the former suggested that the incumbent and Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram III sit down and discuss the Sultanate's Sabah claim: Send a memo, Aquino told Ramos. All I know is, Ramos may not want to send a letter to Aquino, given what happened  to the letters that Kiram has been writing to the President since 2010.
GETREAL POST: BS Aquino is too hard-headed to listen to people who don't agree with him, to people whom he does not like, or to people who take the opposing side of his argument. BS Aquino also has shown that he thinks only his way of approaching things is correct, and that because he's the boss (so much for kayo ang boss ko), his viewpoint is the only valid one. BS Aquino showed either total ignorance of the history behind the Sabah claim, or it totally didn't matter anyway.
MLA STANDARD: KIT TATAD - As Aquino's colossal bungling of the situation in Sabah, as it relates to the Phil territorial claim, encourages the Malaysian govt to unleash its full might against the supporters of the Sultan Jamalul Kiram III of Sulu, one is tempted to conclude that the entire Aquino administration has become the real, and much bigger, "Team Patay."
CONFLICTING STORIES:

INQUIRER: NBI exec ADMITS sending agents to Kiram's home
NBI Deputy Director for Intelligence Services Reynaldo Esmeralda said it was a legitimate operation allowed by his office and that of Deputy Director Ruel Lasala on Special Investigation Services. "The task of our people was to monitor the premises of the Kiram family," Esmeralda said.
CONFLICTING STORIES:

GMA NEWS: The head of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) DID NOT give instruction to his agents to visit the residence of Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram III in Taguig City on Wednesday. This was according to Justice Secretary Leila de Lima, who told reporters in Manila that she immediately checked with NBI director Nonnatus.
MLA TIMES: ISSUE: SABAH STANDOFF - Lacierda lying on Sabah issue, ignorant, or plain dimwitted - By Rigoberto Tiglao - ISSUE SABAH STANDOFF
I nearly fell of my seat hearing Mr. Lacierda. First he says Mr. Aquino didn't violate the old baselines law that affirmed our Philippine sovereignty over Sabah, since the new baselines law REPEALED that provision. But then he says in his "let-me-educate-you-further" part, that the Supreme Court says the new baselines law DID NOT repeal the old law's claim over Sabah.
GMA News: PNoy tells FVR: Send a memo to me in making suggestions on the Sabah crisis - In making suggestions on how to handle the Sabah crisis, former President Fidel V. Ramos should better "send a memo" to me for consideration, Pres Benigno Aquino III told reporters covering his trip to Davao on Thursday.
ANC: NUJP hits NBI 'charade' - "As if it were not bad enough that our law enforcement agencies cannot, or will not, stop the continued murders of and atter the UNA. assailed the opposing administration ticket for still bringing up the former President as a campaign issue for the May 13 elections.
ANC: Commotion at Malacanang premises as Gabriela rallies on eve of International Women's Day. Two protesters were arrested by police after Gabriela tried to get near the Palace gate. The protesters suddenly appeared outside St. Jude Church and policemen tried to block them from getting near Malacanang.
dzmm reporter:
bs aquino III kinumpirmang kukunin sa gabinete sina senators ping lacson at kiko pangilinan na ang termino ay matatapos sa june 2013.
-- there goes the neighborhood! good luck philippines ----
INQUIRER: NUJP wants apology from NBI over agents' impersonation as media men
- The National Union of Journalist of the Phil called on the DOJ Sec Leila De Lima and NBI Director Nonnatus Tojas to issue a public apology after its agents posed as media practitioners to conduct a surveillance of the residence of Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram III.
if you're wondering who's behind Lanto's appointment as comelec commissioner - FLASHBACK: INQUIRER 5:57 pm | Wednesday, October 26th, 2011
- Drilon endorses diplomat, former solon Macabangkit Lanto as ARMM's OIC - Senator Franklin Drilon, an administration ally, has endorsed former congressman and Ambassador Macabangkit Lanto as officer-in-charge of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. Drilon said Lanto possessed the "combined skills of a diplomat, a graft-busting prosecutor and effective manager-bureaucrat."
anc: house minority: new plunder case filed by sanlakas against ex-pres arroyo and rep dato arroyo clearly politically-motivated.
Minority lawmakers believe aquino administration behind latest charge to keep her in hospital arrest, as previous cases against arroyo are being junked one by one.
politics 101 for pnoy govt: for decades malaysia is the biggest arms supplier of muslim mindanao. a troubled mindanao is always a welcome situation for malaysia as it will keep phil govt's hands full diffusing the conflicts for years. where do you think the arms of milf and abu sayaf are coming from. this will mute our sabah  claim as we sure will be busy finding solutions. being an ally of milf, they volunteered to arbitrate peace process and PH took the bait. now  they've got both PH govt and milf in their pockets and wealthy sabah is theirs. until the sultanate of sulu and milf cried "foul". now we know who to call "foolhardy."
