A court insider told the Philippine Daily Inquirer that the resolution creating the committee to be led by Associate Justice Jose Portugal Perez would "supersede" Sereno's controversial order. "By making this resolution, everything will be put on hold," the source said, referring specifically to Sereno's appointment of Geraldine Faith Econg, the court's head of the program management office, as head of RCAO-7 in Cebu City.
