MANILA (Xinhua) -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) dowgraded its growth forecast for the Philippines this year to 3.7 percent on back of a global slowdown. The ADB earlier forecast Philippines economy to grow 4.7 percent this year.

Response to Pnoy's wish for CGMA to tell all this Christmas:
It is lamentable that the current leadership is blinded by his hatred towards the former President and bent on pursuing a search and destroy policy to cover up his ineptness and handicapped experience to govern the country. His consistency in disregarding the rule of law and public disrespect of magistrates is an ominous sign of a budding self-centered strongman destined to bring chaos to an already ailing country. After one and a half years of blaming, the country is nowhere running in circles with no path at all. A person cannot be coerced, terrorized or persecuted to submit to another person's whims and caprices. We all seek justice and fairness as guaranteed by our democratic institutions and there no shortcuts. The barricades are in his mind not ours, for this Christmas, we wish him simply to work all, solve all and help all.
