TRIBUNE: DAR CHIEF CITES ERRORS IN HLI LIST, URGES EXCLUSION PLEAS
The DAR termed as a likely ERROR the listing of housemaids and horse stable helpers of the relatives of President Aquino among the beneficiaries of land distribution at the vast HL estate and advised those complaining against the list to petition for their exclusion. DAR Sec Virgillio delos Reyes, in a statement, suggested to the leaders of KMP to file a petition for exclusion against five workers who, they claimed, were listed "ERRONEOUSLY" as potential beneficiaries of Hacienda Luisita.
-- if there are "errors", why can't they correct it instead of waiting for petitions? ---
TRIBUNE: It has been all of 2 a half years since Noynoy became president, and to this day, there have been no bigtime foreign investments coming into the country, yet Noynoy keeps on claiming that these foreign investors are all raring to plunk in  their investment dollars because of his claimed "good governance" that makes "good economics." That's a lot of BS he spews. He and his administration are a total failure.
MLA STANDARD: EDITORIAL: A CODDLER OF CRIMINALS
Sen Panfilo Lacson, a political ally of Pres Benigno Aquino III, was able to elude arrest for more than a year on murder charges by hiding abroad. A former shooting buddy whom he appointed to the DILG and who subsequently became embroiled in a corruption scandal involving gun procurement contracts was quietly removed - and offered another post in the administration.
MLA STANDARD EDITORIAL: A CODDLER OF CRIMINALS
The Pres paid the bail from his personal funds for the former governor of Isabela province after she was ordered arrested on corruption charges. With utter disregard for due process, the President declared her innocent, and even appointed her to be a commissioner in the COMELEC. With a track record such as this, it is any wonder that this "straight path" President is increasingly being exposed as a coddler of criminals?

Granting she is innocent, as she claims, of the case filed against her at the sandiganbayan, delicadeza and decency dictate that she should have waited when she is proven innocent before accepting her appointment and which rationale should also apply to the appointing power! Tuwid na daan daw! Grrr
