The group was clearly critical of the administration of President Aquino saying that his government "is no different from his mother's regime, characterized by callous shameless propped up by endless popularity surveys." It added that the Aquino administration stages spurious public shows of piety and compassion. "It goes through the motions of apologizing for numerous blunders in public yet committed the unforgivable sin of blasphemy to shield its depravity," the group said.

DON'T FORGET THIS NEWS ITEM JUST THIS JAN 14, 2013 OF PHILSTAR: Cayetano sibling biggest 'pork' spenders
- Amid the brouhaha over the supposed cash gifts given by SP Juan Ponce Enrile to majority senators, senators have also used up most, if not all of the P200-million Priority Development Assistance Funds (PDAF) allocated to each of them for 2012, Siblings Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano used up their pork barrel and even went beyond the 200-million ceiling after they spent P256,700,000 and P277,006,092, respectively. Alan Cayetano, who is also minority floor leader, spent P190,200,000 out of his 2012 PDAF allocation while the rest of P66,500,000 came from "continuing" appropriations. His elder sister Pia, got P150,004,190 out of her PDAF allocation and some P127,061,902 from "continuing" appropriations. Following the Cayetanos in the "high spenders" circle are Senators Antonio Trillanes IV who has used up P253,591,680; Sen. Francis Pangilinan at P227,200,000; Sen Teofisto Guingona III at P229,400,000; and Sen. Loren Legarda at P206,000,000.

Edwin Lacierda, claims that the 1996 peace pact forged between the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) and the Fidel Ramos government, was NOT terminated. -- what a LIAR!! Mr. Lacierda, do you really think Misuari and the public will be stupid to believe that? why will Nur declare independence and why will he ask his followers to risk their lives if they're HAPPY with the current developments?
BUSINESS WORLD: Growth still not fostering employment
- THE RANKS of the unemployed swelled in July, the National Statistics Office (NSO) yesterday reported, with strong economic growth still not translating into jobs. Latest Labor Force Survey results put the unemployment rate at 7.3%, up from 7% in the same month last year. This was equivalent to three million jobless Filipinos from 2.8 million a year earlier.

TRIBUNE: Noynoy's P100M 'pork' went bogus NGOs too
- It certainly looks like the accuser appears as guilty as he makes his non-allies appear, in the case of the alleged diversion of their pork barrel allocations to bogus non-government organizations (NGOs). A closer study of the Commission on Audit sought to be validated by Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., showed that P100 million of President Aquino's P72.11-billion "stimulus funds" disbursed last year by the DBM went to bogus NGOs, and were siphoned by at least four bogus NGOs.
