The DAP no longer is being done, so the petitions against it are moot. People seem to be resigned in accepting the reality that no major change will happen for the next 800 or more days remaining in PNoy's term. What does all this signify? Amid all the truly significant problems that beset the country today, not one, but two Cabinet secretaries and one bureau commissioner have chosen to involve themselves in a matter best left to the local police and the courts. ON DAP ORAL ARGUMENT: Justifying corruption of the rule of law by proclaiming ignorance and pleading absence of culpability by mere stoppage of such illegal practice is A TWISTED ARGUMENT DESIGNED as a MOCKERY of the intelligence and wisdom of the sitting JUSTICES of the HIGHEST COURT of the land. In his defense of the constitutionality of the DAP funds in the SC, sol gen Jardeleza admitted that it's unconstitutional but that the petition to declare it unconstitutional should be dismissed simply because it's moot and academic. They have stopped using DAP, ergo, not an issue anymore. With the govt's admission that DAP is unconstitutional, how can the SC justices decide otherwise? Pnoy can't escape by saying its moot and academic. Pnoy your in trouble. Your SolGen admitted DAP is unconstitutional.
