TRIBUNE: Defense counsel Ferdinand Topacio, in a statement, said his client is "greatly saddened that once again, DOJ Sec Leila de Lima has contemptuously tried to SECOND-GUESS the judiciary, and has shown her indifference to its lawful orders, in making a public pronouncement as to the merits of the case of the Reyeses." The defense counsel added that for De Lima to give an opinion on the merits of the case "is nothing but a transparent attempt to influence the courts."
