Franklin Drilon as DOJ Secretary filed a case for Rebellion complex with Murder against Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile in blind obedience to Cory Aquino. Case dismissed by the SC as there is no such animal. Now he is acting as prosecutor in the impeachment in blind obedience to P-NOY. Please pass.

Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Emeritus Oscar Cruz said the Filipino people needs an explanation from Aquino regarding his assets and wealth which reportedly almost tripled from 2009 to 2010. "Dapat lang na ipaliwanag niya... Gusto niya na maging very transparent ang iba pero siya ayaw niya. At isa pa ang Freedom of information bill ay ayaw niya. Di niya priority. Kung talaga siya ay pro-transparency e bakit di niya to ipasa. Based on the PCIJ report, the President's wealth has grown from P15,440,268 in 2009 to 54,999,370 in 2010. 

Prosecutors are going gaga over the 8M increase of Corona's wealth from 14.5M in 2009 to 22.9M in 2010. Compare this to PNOY's monthly salary of Php819,028. But the net increase in PNoy's wealth is 39.5M or 256% more in just one year. Using prosecutors logic, looks like PNOY is amassing ill gotten wealth. Pls pass.

The fact the prosecutor Tañada alludes the notion that the Senate is the venue for the CJ to disprove the charges hurled against him is not only resorting to "Shifting the burden of proof" but it is also smacking of the "Fallacy of presupposition". It essentially begs for an explanation for something which is not yet established. Why on Earth should the case be about "disproving" the charges? The charges have not been proven yet to be true, so what is there to disprove?  

Senator Ralph Recto said: "If I were to bend a little backward, I would bend in favor of the defense. The trial has started with the prosecution, and we should allow the defense some leeway to defend themselves so nobody can say it has been railroaded or stacked up against them."

A day before the impeachment Rep. Angara vowed that prosecution is set to make history. This early, with the mess prosecutors are creating, it is certain they'd be relegated to the dustbin of history. What is unfolding before us taxpayers is a circus, with unprepared grandstanding prosecutor reps and re-electionist senators. But bigger picture of this trials is P-Noy's enormous powers to get what he wants. We appeal to the President to use the same powers and distribute Hacienda Luisita. Kapihan Sa Anabel's: IBP impeachment watch lawyer told the forum that the IBP knew the articles  of impeachment was technically flawed but left it to private complainants like adaza, paguia and lozano et al to question it in court. For the greater good of the greater number, they supported for now a continuation of the process despite its flaws. Lawyer trixie angeles said they will continue their close watch of proceedings. 

Saturday Forum at Anabel's update: Atty. Oliver Lozano said the impeachment should be stopped immediately for being based on a void articles of impeachment according to lozano, the articles of impeachment did not comply with the verification required by the constitution. He also accused PNoy of putting up P2B kitty for the impeachment of corona.
