ABS-CBN NEWS: PSEI DOWN FOR 5TH STRAIGHT DAY
The Philippine Stock Exchange index slides for a fifth straight day on concerns Philippine shares may have rallied too much, too quickly. The main index settled at 6,654.60, down 0.60%. Banks are among today's biggest losers. BDO slipped 3.29% to P88, while Metrobank dropped 2.37% to P115. Bank of the Philippine Islands is also down 3.25% to P104. Philippine Long Distance Telephone also fell 0.55% to 2,844.
