INTERAKSYON TV: The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday stopped the Commission on Elections (Comelec) from disqualifying four party-list groups to run in the May 13, 2013 mid-term elections. During the en banc deliberations of the SC, the justices issued a status quo ante order (SQA) against Comelec and granted the petitions of the four party-list groups, namely Ako Bicol, APEC, 1CARE and Alliance on Rural Concerns, to bar Comelec from implementing its disqualification order. 
PHILSTAR: PHILIPPINE DEBT HITS $126.89 B AS OF SEPTEMBER
The government's debt rose to $5.213 trillion (about $126.89 billion) as of September due to the increase of domestic debt, the Bureau of Treasury (BTr) said Tuesday. According to the data released by the agency, the debt of the country increased by P31.94 billion) in September.

- Ito po iyong mga mayayaman na pumupunta sa ating bansa para maglagak ng puhunan dito sa atin.
- Paano masasabi ng ating Pangulong Aquino na gumaganda ang ating ekonomiya Hindi po ba?
- Tingnan ninyo kapag ang ating Pangulo ay nanggaling sa ibang bansa, siyempre pangangalandakan na naman ang billion dollars na investments.
- Ipinaliwanag ni Apo Diokno na pledges lang ang mga iyan at hihintayin pa natin na mag-materialize iyan na maging negosyo.

- Senator Joker Arroyo on Monday warned the Aquino administration against betraying and fooling the coconut farmers for the second time involving the P57.6-billion coconut levy funds. Arroyo, along with Bayan Muna Rep. Neri Colmenares, said the Aquino government was giving the same promise that the Martial Law regime did 30 years ago as far as the coco levy funds were concerned. "The farmers were fooled once, they will not be fooled once, they will not be fooled once, they will not fooled twice," Arroyo stressed. "They were suckers before, they are afraid they will be suckers now if the Alcala prescription is allowed.

For the Aquino administration, the 2013 national budget and the sin tax measure need more urgent legislative action that reproductive health (RH) and freedom of information (FOI) bills.

Tumaas ng 11.1 million households ang nagsasabi na sila ay maralita. - So, how can we now say na gumaganda na ang buhay natin?

The BSP admitted the low FDI inflows were a sign of investors' WORRY to bring in more capital to the country. Just recently, Aquino issued EO 98 which expanded the so-called negative list in local business that earned several complaints from foreign trade groups.

Instead of PULLING IN foreign investments, the administration of President Aquino seems to be sending a signal DRIVING AWAY capital as indicated by the latest BSP figures showing foreign direct investments DISSIPATING 83 percent to a mere $13 million a year ago that brought FDI in the year to August to $1 billion, one of the LOWEST among developing countries in the Asian region.
