ANC: Some UP manila student walked out of their classes to condemn the state university's no late payment policy. Members of KMU also staged a rally Tuesday morning in Mendiola to slam Pres Aquino over UP freshman Kristel Tejada's death. The protesters threw tomatoes at an image of Aquino dressed as a grim reaper, with the words "budget cuts", "high prices", and "privatization" written on it. They describe Aquino's education policies as "anti-youth" and say Aquino should be held responsible Tejada's suicide. KMU calling for greater state subsidy and tuition rollbacks.
