INQUIRER - In separate statements, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Constitution Association, the Supreme court Assembly of Lawyers-Employees Inc., the Philippine Association of Court Employees, the Judiciary employees Association, and the Las Piñas City Judges Association called for the rule of law to be upheld.

CJ Corona said that Pnoy had him impeached by the House Representatives because of his decision in the Hacienda Luisita case. That Pnoy wants to take out Corona so he can have the hacienda luisita reversed. Pnoy has never denied this. If the plan of Pnoy succeeds, he would have destroyed the Judiciary plus the Cojuancos can have their hacienda back again. Ano kayo, sinesuerte?

Over the weekend, the Sheriffs Confederation of the Philippines joined other groups in support of Corona.
"The pressures being exerted so that the courts, the third and co-equal branch of the government, know how to the wishes of the chief executive, first through the budget, then by verbal abuse, and now by impeachment, are very disheartening," the group said in a statement.

After WB approved the loan (2003)-there was Davide, Panganiban, Puno and then Corona. But the report has to be centered on Corona who assumed office 2010. And the report conveniently released or leaked by WB to inquirer days before start of impeachment trial?

Land Reg Authority (LRA) lied about the so called 45 Metro Manila properties. Example are the 8 marikina lots. LRA deliberately did not mention that these are donated by the Rocos to the Corona couple in the 80s. They subdivided it into 8 lots. Of course, what would you expect from LRA head, Mr. Diaz, a P-NOY classmate who is just following orders to fabricate evidence. Knowing that the case against CJ is weak, expect P-NOY to use all gov resources to create a yellow hysteria. But truth has a way of finding out. In the end justice wil prevail. Pls pass.

But Inquirer did note cite who was/were in-charge of everything cited by the World Bank. Inquirer DID NOT GET the side of any other officer of the Supreme Court. Not even Justice Midas Marquez, the Supreme Court spokesman and administrator who was obviously referred to in some supposedly questionable aspects of the story even if he was not directly named.

The Inquirer said according to the World Bank, since Corona assumed his post in mid-2010 progress in reforming the judiciary has been rated unsatisfactory, and that there have been among others, "inaccurate/incomplete information" on financial management reports and "diminished existing internal check-and balance mechanism"

Neither did Inquirer say anything to show that the term of Davide and Puno was 100 percent clean so the two need not be asked to comment. The Inquirer report admitted that loan result indicators depict achievements in several areas. But it DID NOT CITE the achievements. However, it came out with COMPLETE DETAILS on supposedly questionable transactions using the loan.

Reynato Puno succeeded Davide as Chief Justice until Renato Corona assumed office in 2010 or some SEVEN YEARS after the loan was granted. But take note, people, the Inquirer DID NOT ask Davide or Puno for comment, even if the loan was ALREADY IN USE long before Corona became Chief Justice.

The front-page headline of yesterday's Inquirer is about questionable details of a $21.9-million loan granted by the World Bank to the Supreme Court. Take note, people: The World Bank approved the loan in 2003 to assist the borrower in developing a more effective and accessible judiciary, a brainchild of then Chief Justice Hilario Davide Jr.

ABS-CBN - Speaking to radio DZMM's Pasada Sais Trenta with karen davila and vic lima, the former archbishop of Lingayen-Dagupan expressed support for the embattled Chief Justice whose trial is set to begin Monday. He said he has to support Corona because the Executive Department is trying to demolish not only the Chief Justice, but other institution as well. "Imposibleng hindi ako pumanig sa kaniya," he said. "Siya nga ang napupuntirya pero ang kasama niya ay ang buong judiciary." "Nagigiba po ngayon ang judiciary. Ang gumigiba naman ay walang iba kundi Executive," Cruz claimed.

TO PDI: WERE NOT STUPID!
The daily dose of corona properties being headlined by inquirer is an example on how media can distort public opinion at will. The semi tabloid broadsheet is clearly lawyering for malacañang (as if we are surprised) and the house prosecution team. While suspiciously mute on carpio's acquisitions and dragging its feet on points of the defense, the lynch mob motive dominates its front page prejudging corona even before he was born.
