De Lima to conduct further probe on these anomalies. Ombudsman Carpio-Morales should also conduct an inquiry so that proper charges can be filed. The media followed him all the way to his vehicle in an attempt to get a statement from him but all were ignored by Puno until he was able to ride his car and leave the Senate vicinity in a rush.

Lim stated that the person, whom he did not identify, called him about the election protest of retired SC Ass Justice Dante Tiñga against Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano which is currently pending before the Comelec's First Division of which he is a member. According to Comm. Lim, the person "relayed" to him that Malacañang is averse to the retrieval from the Taguig City Hall of the ballot boxes containing the protested ballots in the 2010 mayoralty election in the city.

INQUIRER: ES Paquito Ochoa, In a letter he sent to the committee, said the hearing had no clearance from the full Senate and the panel had failed to send to the Palace the questions it wanted to ask to the Cabinet officials. "Whoever wrote this letter should be fired by President Aquino for being CROSS-EYED," an angry Santiago said. The letter writer, she said, had his constitutional provisions mixed up because a list of questions is required only for the congressional question hour for government officials. Her committee's hearing was in aid of legislation, she said.
