DWIZ: PNOY (9:50-10:00 - Karambola- DWIZ) commentaries of Ed Javier / J. Dela Cruz / D. Dulay Jonathan: Hindi namin pinapanigan si GMA.

ISSUE: OFW/DRUG MULES (9:15-9:20 Punto Asintado- Radyo 5) by E. Tulfo Interview with Congressman. Danilo Suarez

JOURNAL: De Lima defies court- The camp of sacked NBI director Magtanggol Gatdula has been stopped by the National Bureau of Investigation and Office of the Solicitor General from inspecting the vehicle of ambushed bureau deputy director Reynaldo Esmeralda.
Directed by Justice Secretary Leila de Lima,  Assistant Solicitor General Amparo Cabotaje-Tang barred Gatdula's camp led by his lawyer Abraham Espejo from inspecting Esmeralda's vehicle despite the authority granted by Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 26 Judge Silvino Pampilo Jr. through a Writ of Amparo. For defying its order, De Lima may be cited for contempt by the court.
MLA STANARD: Tax Chief hit for arrogance in handling Pacquiao case REP TOBY TIANGCO: "If Congressman Pacquiao, who is already a member of the House of Representatives and a respected icon, not only in the Philippines but all over the world, can be deprived of due process and subjected to harassment tactics by the BIR, much more ordinary citizens," Tiangco said.
PHILSTAR - BOBIT AVILA The office of the President has already immense powers, yet they want more from Congress, just because they didn't do what they should have done last year? Who was it who said, Does the President really need emergency powers or perhaps he is seeking what we already wrote in this corner "revolutionary powers," which cost the job of the National Defense spokesman? P Noy should have fixed the problem in Mindanao and things would have already eased. Another very important problem that he did not fix are the problems of the airline industry.

MLA STANDARD: MANNY PACQUIAO On March 1 Internal Revenue filed charges against Pacquiao for his alleged failure to submit his tax records.
Pacquiao described the agency's action against him as harassment, saying it all started when he refused to sign the impeachment of Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona. He vowed to finish the fight that the agency started.

we do not need a bullet train railway system in PH house PDAF 188 is showing an efficient "railroad" system by shamelessly and hastily proposing to give a Noynoying President emergency powers without even studying the merits (much like the 200mph Cj impeachment).
Already the country's top canine club, they wag their tails, beg and roll in his majesty's secret service. Another way to get treats from asst trainer Abad?

MLA STANARD: Tax Chief hit for arrogance in handling Pacquiao case REP TOBY TIANGCO: "If Congressman Pacquiao, who is already a member of the House of Representatives and a respected icon, not only in the Philippines but all over the world, can be deprived of due process and subjected to harassment tactics by the BIR, much more ordinary citizens," Tiangco said.
REP. MITOS MAGSAYSAY demanded that Henares be humble enough to apologize to Pacquiao for the agency's misgivings and stop its  arrogance. "For someone of national stature like Pacquiao, the BIR should have accorded him respect and a little consideration," Magsaysay said.

PHILSTAR: "US house may belong to CJ" - The California house that a daughter of Chief Justice Renato Corona had acquired may actually belong to her father, House Majority Leader Neptali Gonzales II claimed yesterday.
Gonzales said, Congressmen prosecuting Corona in his Senate impeachment trial do not dismiss the possibility that the Chief Justice is the real and beneficial owner of the California property. Gonzales said, it is the theory of the prosecution panel that Corona is using his children to hide his unexplained wealth. PARANG HINDI KA ABOGADO. TANGA! ITO BA ANG TINATAWAG NA CEASEFIRE?

INQUIRER: TIGLAO Why did they ever undertake this vicious but foolhardy campaign to crush the Chief Justice?
"Truth overcomes deceit," The Buddhist Dhammapada said more than 2,000 years ago. The deceit is that Corona should be taken out for corruption. The truth is that Mr. Aquino clan can get P10 billion for Hacienda Luisita only If Corona is removed.

sa top popularity ratings ng pulse asia - di ba ninyo napansin na ang most highly rated officials ay puro independent minded and may respeto sa judiciary?
Binay, Loren, Chiz, JPE and Honasan. It shows the public approves a fair and just trial for CJ Corona! (wala si Drilon and Pangilinan- the Laure and Hardy tandem prosecution-judges)

"It is on record that as early as January 2012, the house minority has been consistently alerting this administration about the worsening power crisis in Mindanano and its effects on the business community and livelihood of Mindanaoans. House reporters and even the majority bloc an attest to this appeal. sad to say, it was ignored and was not given the proper attention that it deserved."  House minority floor leader Rep. Danny Suarez (0917) 899 0388
MLA STANDARD - JOJO ROBLES - So, the good news is that Aquino has finally woken up to a problem that he needs to attend to, something that he never even mentioned two years ago, when his term was beginning. But the bad news is that he has now wasted two years doing other stuff (Noynoying, really) when he could have attended to the Mindanao power crisis right after he assumed the presidency - if he was really serious about his promise to "hit the ground running."
The current power crisis in Mindanao is part of a pattern, a model designed to ensure that cronies make money of the difficulties suffered by the people. In 1986, the country was plunged in darkness and Cory Aquino did not do anything to provide a solution. But the Aboitiz group provided the power barges and monopolized the importation of generators. the people suffered but the Aquino cronies made money. Today, the same model is being followed. The power crisis will bring in the Aboitiz, Lopezes, Ayalas who have set their sights on the power generating companies owned by the gov't. That's for sure, just you wait and see.
While kulang sa kuryente ang Mindanao, sobra naman sa pangunguryente ang prosecution and yellow media!
Aksyontv: Rep. Suarez said they had warned about Mindanao power crisis as early as Jan 2012; Corona defense spokesman atty. Salvador denied text going around that they called for forensic audit of Basa guidote funds.

MANILA STANDARD: EMIL JURADO
De Lima is the big question mark. She holds the precarious 12th spot in the Pulse Asia survey. She is the most talkative among the Cabinet members but she would be a new comer in the legislature. If Gordon and Zubiri get factored in, she could very easily get bumped off. But who knows? President Aquino needs a Doberman in the Senate.

poll witnesses have no knowledge  tampering of votes in maguindanao: comelec lawyers acting as prosecutors in the electoral sabotage case vs PGMA were caught with their pants down, as they presented their witnesses who admitted in open court that they had no knowledge of the alleged tampering of votes in Maguindanao. Comelec employees Juan Vergel SORIANO (records DIV) and Retzie Villena (human resources management) testified that they had no knowledge of the tampering of votes in Maguindanao.

INQUIRER: ATTY. RICO QUICHO- Describing her articles as "fictional stories," defense counsel Rico Paolo Quicho said Robles should convince the prosecution panel to amend the impeachment complaint and include the Chief Justice's alleged US properties. Quicho told the Inquirer over the phone. "If she really feels strongly about the veracity of the documents, why doesn't she testify so we could have an opportunity to ask question from her," he added.
Why are we still surprised that a constitutional body like COA is co-opted by PNoy? Comelec was prostituted for the trumped up electoral sabotage charge against PGMA used to justify de Lima's defiance of the SC.
Raissa Robles is an armchair journalist who gets away with single source stories. She's also a geek and most of her reports are gotten off google. That maybe acceptable to the blogs but not for someone who is also supposed to be a trained journalist by virtue of her work with the south china morning post. Anybody can google anything. In the same way anyone can put anything that can be googled on the web. The diff between new media people and professional journalists is the pros would know how to vet information, check with legit sources. If Raissa was a pro in the true sense of the word, she would have gotten whatever she took from the web, checked it with sources in the US and gotten primary documents or interviews with official sources, at least 2. Did she do that? The sloppy sourcing in this story only shows you there was malicious intent in reporting the story because it was publicized without proper vetting. Journalists must be careful in sourcing and vetting reports lest they fall into the quagmire of social media which is lynch mobbing. Only professional media would have the clout and resources to vet the so called wisdom of the crowds which aren't necessarily wise all the time.
INQUIRER: SEN KOKO PIMENTEL - Pimentel declined to red much into the theory that Corona might have used his daughter as a dummy. He said the matter would have been suspicious if the property was placed under the name of a minor. "In this case, it is under the name of an adult with a job," he said. Pimentel said, presenting evidence on the US property would not reflect well on prosecutors from the House of Rep.  "Does it mean that a blogger could find it, but would be an evidence of poor evidence-gathering by the prosecution," he said.
What is happening to our country Mr. President?

DZIQ: US TROOPS (7:37-7:39 - Radyo Inquirer Balita)

DZMM: ISSUE: MINDANAO POWER CRISIS/EMERGENCY POWERS
(6:54-6:59 - Kabayan - Commentaries by N. De Castro

DZMM: CRIMINALITY RATE
(5:38-5:39 Dos Por Dos) Commentaries of Taberna and Baja

DZBB: MINDANAO POWER SHORTAGE:
(5:10-5:14 Bigtime Balita) commentaries of Radio Anchor Rene Sta.

IMPEACHMENT VS. CJ CORONA (4:36-3:45 Pasada Sais Trenta-DZMM) Commentaries of Radio Anchor Vic de Leon-Lima

INQUIRER: Chief Justice Renato Corona said on Tuesday that he did not change any story when he said that one of his daughters bought a property in the United States. Corona was reacting to published reports that he earlier dismissed reports that his family owned two properties in the United States and then admitted that one of his daughters bought a "dirt cheap" house in the US.
"The question to me was whether I or my wife owned any property in US. We do not," Corona said in a text message sent to reporters.
ANC: Cristina Corona tells ANC her daughter owns the properties in US. "My daughter, she has properties, its hers. Hindi sa amin yun."
Raissa Robles obsession to shame Corona is the same level as pNoy. not surprising. Both are 'classmates.' Robles is a regular at the basement of Makati Med. upon husband's advice after being caught shoplifting in a high end store in Greenhills.
