Sa akin, kung iyong complainants ay 188 at ni-isa sa kanila ay walang humarap ay bakit naman pagpipilitan pang humarap sa trial si CJ Corona para patunayang wala siyang pagkakasala. Dapat patunayan ng prosecution ang kanilang kaso sa lakas ng kanilang ebidensya at hindi sa hina ng ebidensya ng depensa. Kahit naman humarap si CJ Corona, palagay ko naman due respect will be given to him katulad ng respetong ibinigay kay Sec. Leila de Lima at sa BIR.

-If you drop the case, wala kang ihahain na ebidensya kasi dina-drop mo na ;yun.
-Para naman sa depensa, kapag na-drop mo iyan, kailangan munang sabihin ng Impeachment Court na "not guilty" si Chief Justice Corona sa limang articles of impeachment.
- Mahalaga iyan kay Chief Justice Corona kasi masisiguro nila na sa susunod na taon kung sakaling mag-isip na maghahain  muli ng impeachment laban sa kanya ay hindi na magagamit ang limang articles of impeachment laban sa kanya.
-Ang sinasabi ngayon ng prosecution na bagama't inuurong namin iyan (limangarticles) ay ibig lang naming sabihin ay hindi kami maghahain ng ebidensya.
-Kung ako talaga ang depensa, hihingin ko iyon.

The call of congressmen to buy new bullet-proof and bomb-proof cars for the president is the height of insensitivity at a time of rising prices, high unemployment, worsening hunger and great want. Such a shameful show of misplaced priorities from the same congressmen who rushed the now infamous impeachment complaint vs CJ Corona. Wala talaga silang hiya!

It's about pitting the impeachment court against COLLEGIAL decision of the highest court on something that is outside of the senate court's jurisdiction...how could CJ have betrayed the public trust by following the appointment of constitutionally mandated official which is the President.

MANILA, Philippines -  Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile on Thursday moved to cite for contempt an examiner of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for allegedly lying to senators during their investigation on the alleged leak of Chief Justice Renato Corona's bank records.
