INQUIRER: Impeachment trial a parody, says Lipa bishop

Lipa City Arcbishop Ramon Arguelles on Monday dismissed the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona as a "parody" that was doing nothing good for the country.
Arguelles also asked Corona and his supporters to be "steadfast and pray hard." He needs the help of heaven so all those who wanted him down will be enlightened and pray for his enemy," he said.
LIES peddled around just before the CJ takes the wtiness stand:

- 2 defense lawyers resigned
- mrs corona booked a flight to leave the country
- cj corona resigning
- cj corona to turn state witness
- INC lobbying for cj acquittal
- cj will not bare all DEMONIZING cj corona and FAILED presentation of evidence marked the 5-month-old total efforts of the prosecution and the WHOLE yellow army.
- articles from 8-3
- witnesses from 100-26
- properties from 45- 5
- dollar accounts from 82 - 4
- population growth of "mr and mrs anonymous"

with these facts, it is EASY to conclude WHO is LYING and who is telling the TRUTH.
starting today, it will be THE SENATE that will be ON TRIAL. let us all pray that they will be guided by conscience and fairness in seeking the truth. their judgement will define the future of our democratic principles after we are long gone.
INQUIRER: MANILA Philippines - SEN TITO SOTTO: Senators have been advised to follow the rules of the Senate and refrain from issuing "unnecessary" statements that would only provoke controversies when they ask questions to Chief Justice Renato Corona. He said Senate President reminded senators that they "should follow the rules of the Senate, avoid unnecessary statements or issues that might just evolve into controversies. or something like that."

ISSUE: CORONA IMPEACHMENT TRIAL (8:50-9:05 - Punto Asintado - Radyo 5) by M. Andanar and L. de Vera - Interview with Cong. This is very irresponsible statement.
