Azurin NEVER MIND that President Aquino's SONA was a kilo-metric, pat-myself-on-the-back recitation of the "accomplishments" of his administration; what is bothersome is the sense one is given that he hasn't been paying much attention to what has been going on in the country the past year. Otherwise, why did he make it sound like news that there is rampant corruption going on at such agencies as the BOC? Hadn't he been tracking this? It's almost as if his style of "management" consisted of holing up in a room in the presidential palace -- playing video games perhaps? -- until he is called upon by his handlers to read a speech or make a cameo appearance for the TV cameras. If management professors like me were asked to stick a label on this style, we could call it the "showbiz style of management."

JOURNAL: Lim, inakusahan ni Trillanes na nakikinabang sa smuggling
"Kung hindi n'ya masasabi 'yung mga powerful forces na 'yan, ibig sabihin tumatanggap s'ya. Nilamon na siya ng sistema," ani Trillanes sa ilang Senate media kahapon ng tanghali. Ayon sa senador, hindi na siya nagtaka kung nanatiling tikom ang bibig ni Lim na tukuyin ang mga powerful forces na sinasabi nito sa Bureau of Customs dahil sa mahigit tatlong taon nilang pagsasama sa kulungan, alam na niya ang kalidad ng pagkatao nito.

Under the Noynoy government, accountability and responsibility DO NOT EXIST - especially when it comes down to Noynoy and his relatives, allies and party mates, not to mention his infamous KKK clique. Noynoy and his "straight path" allies are nothing but a big FRAUD.

MANALO - Presidential sister Ballsy Aquino-Cruz finally broke her silence and ADMITTED she and her husband HAD BEEN to Prague, albeit, she denies they were involved in the the negotiations between the representatives of the Phil govt and Inekon, the Czech firm bidding for the MRT 3 expansion project. Why did she TIME her trip to Prague when the Phil delegation was also scheduled to make a trip there to meet with the executives of Inekon? DID SHE by chance, happen to meet the Inekon executives during one of her side trips there? And did she travel to Prague along with her first cousin, Jorge, who was intensely lobbying for the Czech firm? And where was Pete Prado in all these? Does hubby Eldon WORK in the same Prado office? Until then, she could not extricate herself from the issue.

Two columnist of a tabloid were shot dead in Quezon City before dawn on Wednesday. The victims were identified as Richard Kho and Bonifacio Loreto. Kho's daughter Richelle Ofelia said that Kho and Loreto has criticized corrupt politicians, which may have been a reason for the killings.
