STANDARD - EMIL JURADO
There are still senators such as Senate President and presiding judge Juan Ponce Enrile, Senate President Protempore Jinggoy Estrada, Majority Floor Leader Tito Sotto, Senators Joker Arroyo, Chiz Escudero, Loren Legarda, Bongbong Marcos, Koko Pimentel, Gringo Honasan, Manny Villar and of course the inimitable Miriam Santiago, who we can rely on to follow the rule of law and respect the Constitution.

STANDARD - JOJO ROBLES
Forget about Aquino's strange gait, his monomania, his fixation on firearms, cars and women and all the other characteristics that some have taken to be signs that the President has Asperger's Syndrome or some other more serious mental illness. His absurd pursuit of Corona, to the exclusion of every other national priority or concern, already borders on the insane - and deserves that way.

PHILSTAR - DICK PASCUAL
- SENATOR-PROSECUTORS: In the Senate, we are treated to the spectacle of senator-judges gathering evidence for congressman-prosecutors who apparently came to the court without hard document to back up many of their impeachment charges.
Most of the articles of impeachment are criminal in nature, but the rules of evidence that should normally be applied have been diluted or relaxed - not in favor of the ill-prepared House prosecutors.
STANDARD - SENATOR -Judge Miriam Defensor Santiago on Monday suggested that the prosecution panel members in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona were "law breakers and thieves" for possessing illegally obtained copies of his bank records. "The law is very, very strict. When he is asking for information on a certain foreign currency account that does not belong to him, he is violating the law. When he entered the bank and asked for a certain foreign account, he was already violating the law," Santiago said, referring to Banal.

TEDITORIAL - The weapon of impeachment was designed to remove the president because he was immune to the no-confidence vote that removes the prime minister in a parliament. 'One thing is clear,' says Raoul Berger, 'the impeachment debate in the convention was almost exclusively concerned with the president.' One thing was even clearer, even a wrong determination by any court, let alone the Supreme Court that a congressional measure or presidential action was legal or illegal was left for final determination to the courts and no one else. not to the Senate. Not the House. Not to a fat woman with a gun. Or a spokesman with a flabby jaw. Not to anyone but judges. That is because the judicial power is vested with right or wrong results, in one Supreme Court.
Indeed, said James Wilson, what House of Representatives would dare to impeach or Senate to convict, judges for the performance of their duty to tell what the law is and what the law is not. This conclusion is inherent in the very nature of judicial review, said Berger. Hence Willoughby. Judges, not to mention justices, cannot be impeached for wrong decisions. Keep that in mind as this drama unfolds. The Senate may go where greater men, and far more bitter partisans, pulled back from.
defense is defenseless under the circumstances. senator judges are taking over the proceedings and they call this a fair trial.
they must send the prosecution home. drilon is openly arguing for them anyway. and cross examining the witness. he will soon be tagged by co players cayetano, pangilinan and osmeƱa. viewers vomiting already.
re DRILON: sobrang kapal and everybody is allowing this kababuyan. ang prosecution naka de cuatro na lang sa upuan.
Drilon asking for all details, is he building the case for prosecution?

IMPEACHMENT VS CJ CORONA:
(4:15-4:27- ANC) Defense Press Conference Highlights points 3 - We are in direction of filing necessary charges against all respondents sa leaked documents kaya naniniwala kami sa pahayag ni Sen. Miriam kanina na nasa kanila ang burden kung hindi nila mag-prove kung saan galing ang leaked document at disputable presumption po ang tawag doon.
- Malinaw sa batas na once you inquire doon sa account without written consent of the depositor, you already violate the law.

Defense briefing live on ANC.
Atty. Karen Jimeno: We're hoping na bilang pangulo, mag-exercise siya ng restraint. Sana ipaubaya na nating sa impeachment court ang paghuhusga.
DZRJ 810AM: BSP & AMLA targeted Corona's account's during September 2010 Audit. (Part of gov't harassment?)

ANC- Santiago on Tiongson: You're acting pursuant to the language of the law, unlike a lawmaker who is already a lawbreaker.
-Santiago to Tiongson: I'm no longer asking questions. I'm going to make a manifestation. I'm no longer talking to you.
-Santiago: Tiongson correct in being disturbed because law on confidentiality of foreign currency deposits very strict.
DZRJ 810AM: MIRIAM citing the law on disputable presumptions (re Banal, Umali & their "small ladies" & "appearing documents"): "A person found in possession of a thing taken in the recent doing of a wrongful act is presumed the taker and does of the act..."

Got this text: Mike Enriquez of DZBB:
(Tungkol sa mga statements ni Cong. Umali at Cong. Banal)
sabi ni Mike Enriquez: Pwde bang manawagan sa mga prosecutors? Pwde bang huwag ninyo kming Gaguhin?!
