PHILSTAR: BOBIT AVILA The pro-P-Noy media suddenly pounced on the hasty exit without acknowledging the state health of CJ Corona. Shame on them! Some even gave parallels to the wheelchair bound former Pres Gloria M. Arroyo, which in my book is bankrupt commentary. What has become to these people who profess to be Catholics or Christians? They themselves have become so un-Christian in their ways. I would dare say that they have become our modern day Pharisees.

Ayon kay Cuevas, baka sa pamamagitan nito ay maliwanagan ang mga kritiko ni Corona na may sakit talaga ang punong mahistrado. CJ CORONA, whether in a wheelchair, in a hospital bed or nailed in his coffin, should appear at the impeachment court by Friday ALL because of a self-imposed DEADLINE. humanitarian reasons, medical bulletins, health condition, and family concerns do not count in the senate court - because it is unique, Sui generis and above any other institution. sedated or grasping for breath, he should show up by Friday or else court's decision will not be in his favor because the senate should adjourn on time. ang MALAS mo naman chief justice - NAGKASAKIT KA!
PHILSTAR: BOBIT AVILA Meanwhile depending on which side you are on, CJ Corona's last testimony about that conditional waiver that he signed in front of the Sen-Judges has been praised or condemned. Those who condemn it say that the 188 Congressmen and Sen Franklin Drilon are not being accused of corruption, so there is no need for them to sign it. But in my book, it was perhaps the greatest challenge that the Chief Justice posed not just for those accusing him of corruption, but also for the entire political establishment that has long been known to live on their pork barrels to the detriment of the economic growth and the development of our country.

2 congressmen from the prosecution are willing to sign the waiver to their bank accounts. but the lead prosecutor niel tupas refused and reasoned that it is was just a diversion from the "real issue". sen drilon refused as well. whaaaat? isn't it that that this was issue hurled against cj corona? if they are not hiding anything, why refuse? simple - the accusers are much much wealthier that the accused!

Atty. Dennis Manalo- The invitation of CJ Corona to prosecutors - complainants and senator Drilon to simultaneously execute bank waivers is intended to prove that the common interpretation of public officials is that there is no legal obligation or duty to disclose foreign currency holdings and deposits in the SALN. While they are obviously not on trial, the issue of interpretation of the SALN law vis-a -vis the fcdu law is. Their refusal to execute waivers only proves that CJ Corona's interpretation is correct or at the very least the current practice.
DZRJ 810 AM update: Senator Escudero asks the Prosecutors if they have already signed their waivers. Tupas answered that none of the 188 have signed it yet. Senator Estrada asks Tupas if he will sign the wavier. Tupas says they will not sign. Drilon puts on record that he will not sign his waiver because Drilon feels that it will be disastrous for the banking industry.
