TRIBUNE: STILL NO PROOF IN GMA'S POLL SABOTAGE CASE
This was evident after election officer Susan Cabanban ADMITTED before Judge Jesus Mupas of Pasay City RTC Branch 112 during the continuation of the trial on the merits that SHE DID NOT SEE ANYONE tampered with the election returns in her municipality. In open court, Cabanban, admitted that she has NO DIRECT KNOWLEDGE OF any tampering of election returns in her municipality. Cabanban also admitted that MAIN PROSECUTION WITNESS Norie Unas, was present during the time they were asked to copy the results in blank election returns. This is CONTRARY to Una's earlier testimony that HE HAD NO PARTICIPATION in any cheating in the elections in Maguindanano because he was sick and his then boss, Ampatuan, was unopposed.
