MANILA STANDARD: 'KIT STANDS BY STORY, VOUCHES FOR SOURCES

Despite MalacaƱang's official statement describing as "pure fiction" my article in the Manila Standard on President B. S. Aquino's reported "closed-door conversations"  with Janet Lim-Napoles on Aug. 28, 2013, my sources, who are no enemies of the President, stand by their story and I stand by what I have written.
ABS-CBN NEWS: CLEAN UP MNLF MESS, FVR TELLS PNOY

As the crisis in Zamboanga stretched into another day, former President Fidel Ramos gave the Aquino administration an unsolicited advice. "Why don't you clean up your own mess first because you did it in the first place after we turned it over to you in a nice silver platter," he said. Ramos said Aquino should fix his management team. PHILSTAR: Collateral damage BABE'S EYE VIEW By Romualdez
According to Serge Valencia, he was approached by some people in government urging him to be state witness against former President Arroyo, but he says he cannot lie  and can only say what he knows - which is confined to what the board approved. This is precisely what Serge Valencia is hoping to see - that justice will prevail and that all those implicated in allegations of corruption - even Gloria Arroyo who is confirmed to be ill - will be given a dignified, just and fair treatment. It's good to remember what Martin Luther King once said: "Injustice anywhere is threat to justice everywhere."
