Queen Elizabeth, Vladimir Putin and Erap Estrada all die and go to hell. While there, they saw a red phone and ask what the phone is for. The devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth. Putin asks to call Russia and talks 5 minutes. When he is finished, the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars; so Putin writes him a check. Next, Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes. When she is finished the devil informs her that the cost is 6 million dollars; so she writes him a check. Finally, Erap gets his turn and talks for 4 hours. When he is finished, the devil informs him that the cost is $5.00. When Putin hears this, he goes ballistic! He He questions the evil, why Erap got to call the Philippines so cheaply. The devil smiles and replies, "Since PeNoy took over, the country has gone to hell; so it's a local call."
GMA's critics always ask for accountability, fairness and closure so we can all as a country can move on. that will never, happen in this administration because genuine accountability, fairness and closure can only happen with facts--facts that this administration has selectively exposed to suit their political convenience.
all throughout of her term and until now, GMA has been vilified through UNSUBSTANTIATED allegations, just exaggerated and AMPLIFIED by media who skewed the presentation of facts and put MALICE where there was none. proof that some members of the media had always worked against her is that one FORMER journalist who's reported about controversies about her and her people NOW SITS in this administration as its CHIEF propagandist. anyone experienced in politics knows, no one gets appointed to the cabinet unless he or she is in some way in the inner circle and has worked with his principal.
Cgma is UNDER the jurisdiction of the judiciary already. Malacañang's statement betrays their IGNORANCE of the constitution, and drunkenness with power, thinking they can bend the rules just to suit the political vendetta against GMA. there is separation of powers. this is the Palace over exerting itself again and trying to INFLUENCE an independent and co-equal branch of government. they are not playing fair. cgma has NOT ACTED on her doctor's recommendation to seek medical treatment overseas. Carandang is shooting from the hip. If they have doubts on maam's health, they can take it up with the court if or when the issue of foreign travel becomes a reality. ONLY the court, and NOT Malacañang can come up with an independent validation of claims,
Carandang nor anyone from the Palace has NO RIGHT nor COMPETENCE to doubt cgma's condition. They are not trained doctors. Neither have they seen her up close, examined her nor read her medical records. The same maybe said of any doctors from any group who has not examined GMA for themselves. even the PMA, who have NOT examined cgma personally and subjected her to the same tests and studies of Dr. Anastacio, a known expert in his field, cannot ETHICALLY and logically SECOND guess anastacio's findings. Politicians should stay out of medical matters. clearly, they do not know what they are talking about. all they have are fears and suspicions they have never been able to prove through evidence, and which they exaggerated, and repeated till it became an accepted fact over the media.

drifter- Tama ka igan. I know first hand na marami na hindi na kaya dito sa Pinas. Currently, a love one is in a serious condition at some top hospitals here in the Metro and the doctors are having a hard time figuring out what is happening with the patient for a number of weeks now. I can't give the exact medical details but it has come to a point where we have become really frustrated with the doctors. And the 7 figure bills keep on pilling up.

The fact is Noynoy is punishing Gloria by insisting on keeping her detained, whether her condition is serious or not, no matter what her doctor says. Admit it or not, Gloria may be an accused in whatever charges Noynoy brought against her, but she should still be presumed INNOCENT at this point because like it or not, she has NOT been convicted of ANY crime, and already she is being PUNISHED with long-term DETENTION.

I swear, Noynoy is worse than Marcos who had allowed Noynoy's father, Ninoy, to leave for abroad for medical treatment for his heart problem. Ninoy had already been CONVICTED of murder and sedition, or something worse, yet he was allowed to leave, even when there were good heart doctors HERE.

Imelda Marcos, out of bail, had HDOs issued by the courts against her, yet they lifted these orders and allowed her to seek treatment abroad for her glaucoma. Why should it be Noynoy and his aides who have to verify whether Gloria's condition is serious?

Arroyo on her serious med condition, claimed that the issue is out of his hands, because of her HDOs, thus, the decision rests on the courts. THAT should be the right thing to say and do. The point is, why should the Palace even get into this issue, when it is already the courts' business to decide whether to lift their HDOs issued against her, and not the Palace.

Gloria for all she is, and isn't, trusted the local surgeons and underwent the operations needed. They were unsuccessful. Not that they were capable, but the operation went wrong. Stil, if Noynoy insists on punishing her and refusing to let her leave, then if she dies, the only person to blame is the vindictive Noynoy.

And just who is Olarte to even come up and say that there are doctors who can perform this serious operation on Gloria? He may be a VP of the PMA, but he should also know that it is always the patient's choice of surgeons or doctors that has to prevail, because the important issue between doctor and patient is trust and confidence of the patient in her doctor.

- We recall that when Ninoy Aquino (Noynoy's father) was allowed by then Pres Ferdinand Marcos to go abroad in 1980 for treatment of his heart ailment, the opposition leader had already been convicted and sentenced to die by firing squad. In contrast, Ms Arroyo still enjoys the presumption of innocence. In fact, the judge has said the evidence against her in the election fraud case is weak.

- Doctor knows GMA state of health better POLITICAL vs MEDICAL OPINION: Between pres Noynoy Aquino sitting in Malacañang and a medical doctor directly examining former Pres Gloria Arroyo, who knows better her state of health? Who is more credible? Since the alleged crimes committed by the former Pres are already in court, should it be the President and not the judge with jurisdiction over the cases to decide if the accused be detained, freed on bail, or allowed to seek the best medical care she could find?

DOJ confirms another inmate at the New Bilibid Prisons has been reported missing following the alleged kidnapping and return of convicted killer Rolito Go this week. Justice Sec. - Former pres and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is badly dehydrated as she is wary to take any fluid orally. Cardiologist Dr. Roberto Anastacio said Mrs. Arroyo tries to avoid drinking as much as possible for fear that she might choke. "Natatakot na nga siyang uminom ng tubig ngayon kaya dehydrated na siya," He said the lower and upper titanium plates are dislocated, which obstruct airways and food. This stress could possibly affect Mrs. Arroyo's heart. He also recommended that a medical procedure available in the US and to correct the misalignment of the plates implanted Mrs. Arroyo's neck and spine.
