ABS-CBN: In a statement, UNA Sec Gen Toby Tiangco said results of a Sandiganbayan investigation on the alleged security breach at the anti-graft court SHOULD be made PUBLIC.
- The United Nationalist Alliance on Wednesday said it is deeply bothered by reports that Interior and Local Government Sec. Mar Roxas and poll commissioner Grace Padaca were accorded special treatment at the Sandiganbayan last week allegedly upon the orders of a Sandiganbayan justice.
FWD - Sandiganbayan & gov't prosecutors should be aware that SPECIAL treatment is NOT the issue. It is about a sick person yet to be arraigned and presumed innocent until proven guilty. Abandonment of the state's responsibility to protect the rights of an ailing accused individual like the former president. Its denial for her to seek much needed medical attention and supervision while being tried is tantamount to premature judgement and violates her right to survive and live. Even a jailed convicted prisoner is accorded such humanitarian gesture. A fisher folk, a farmer or a former pres, every citizen is guaranteed by law the same rights and it is NOT SPECIAL. pls pas

MLA STANDARD: JOJO ROBLES - As is often the case when Malacañang tries to explain things, it only succeeds in fueling speculation that the truth is very different from what palace propagandist say. In the case of Aquino's obviously rare condition of "tennis elbow of the wrist". By far the most popular rumor is that Aquino is actually suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, a common ailment of people who spend so much time in front of a computer. What kept the President so occupied online is anyone's guess; perhaps, as some naughty commentators have noted, he was looking for libelous statements being made against him and his administration in the social media.
MANILA TIMES: ARROYO TO REMAIN AT VMMC

In their 20-page urgent  motion to allow Mrs. Arroyo to remain at the government medical facility, lawyers Maria Rosario del Rosario and Analene Balisong reminded the anti-graft court's First Division of Estrada's detention in 2007.

MLA STANDARD: JOJ ROBLES - A PRESIDENT WHO IS NEVER WRONG
Aquino justified his administration's support for RA 10175, the cybercrime law saying the he could be impeached for dereliction of of duty if he does not implement a statute that has already been enacted. This is either the most STUPID or the most cynical remark ever made by this President because it suggests that he can no longer do anything to prevent the implementation of the new law. "Ah, basta," he seems to say to his critics. This is the law we wanted, and this is the law they are going to get.
