TRIBUNE: CACHO OLIVARES - Noynoy is filled with hubris. He believes that, as he sits in Malacañang, he can do as he pleases--including getting exemptions every time. Remember when he also sought an exemption from the election gun ban, claiming that he had to keep on with his target shooting practice, which the subservient poll commission granted? Again, he sought and was granted an exemption from the election ban law. He acts as though he is above the law and that he is the boss, not the Filipino people whom he claims are his boss, What Noynoy is, is a HYPOCRITE.

Reyes' counsels led by Ferdinand Topacio asked her to "follow the dictates of ethics and the mandate of jurisprudence and inhibit herself and her Department from the case.
PHILSTAR: MARICHU VILLANUEVA
- Now that he is also doing what he denounced before against his immediate predecessor at Malacañang, will Pres Benigno Aquino III soon be eating humble pie? Corona's appointment was questioned as a violation of the constitutional provision that prohibits such appointments two month before elections. But the essence and spirit of the law being questioned here pertain to the same situation: the timing of presidential appointments being issued, in  this case, during the prescribed election campaign period ban.

INQUIRER: NEAL CRUZ - Ban the Bum and political dynasties
No word at all on his qualifications to be a senator. There is none. From out of nowhere, Bam wants to be a senator right away. It's as if he is saying: I am an Aquino, I look like Ninoy, I have the same name, I am related to two Presidents, Cory and Noynoy. I don't need any other qualification. But does he have the brains of Ninoy? I think not. Otherwise, he would have conducted his campaign differently.
DZMM: Gerry Baja and Anthony Taberna

Heard in Karambola. Fitch rating was obtained because it was commissioned by the govt, paid for by the govt and the data was supplied by the govt. Now, we know why there was an upgrade. All propaganda.

MLA TIMES: ATTY DODO DULAY
- The investment-grade rating was achieved, in no small measure, through the fiscal and budgetary policies implemented during the administration of the Palace's reviled (and favorite) nemesis - former pres Gloria M-Arroyo. Of course, Malacañang would have none of that. many financial analysts point out that for developing economies like the Phils, an investment-grade rating is a product of years of fiscal discipline. The Aquino administration, however, would have us believe that they did it in LESS than three.
