the suicide of kristel tejada is not about a case of desperation or hopelessness, it's not even about tuition fees. it is clearly a message or a reflection of the true state of poverty now plaguing the country. not to be able to afford (one of the lowest) tuition rate of a state universities reveals how barren and rock-bottom the level of available resource of a poor family is nowadays. and this is happening amidst a rosy picture of a "tiger economy" being heaped and hyped on us by agenda-driven credit rating agencies that sit prominently in the altar of these propaganda driven politicians. truth will always manage to hover upon us even if buried with lies.
