To those who believe that the Aquino administration is doing its best (and its worst) to secure a sweep, Drilon's failed backing of Macabangkit Lanto is only one of the latest instances where this was, as bureaucrats say, "operationalized." The questionable actions of Comelec Chairman Sixto Brillantes and his officials, the non-stop campaigning by Aquino himself and even the suspicious results of nationwide surveys on possible Senate winners are, to some, all part of a grand scheme to pull off this unachievable "12-0" dream by any means available.
