MANILA BULLETIN: Former Pres and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has accused the Office of the Ombudsman to trying to win her conviction on plunder charge through dishonesty and deceit. In a pres statement, Mrs. Arroyo appealed to the anti-graft prosecutors to heed the mandate of their office of fighting dishonesty and graft in government service by upholding justice and fair play. Mrs. Arroyo said the Ombudsman headed by Conchita Carpio Morales has not been forthright dealing with the former chief executive's demand for the production of the first resolution that dismissed the plunder charge against her and co-accused.
