Pres. Diosdado Macapagal's administration was a tool in changing many things that were established during the Spanish rule. The Philippine Independence Day was changed from July 4 to June 12, DEWEY BOULEVARD was RENAMED ROXAS BOULEVARD, Camp Murphy became Camp Aguinaldo, and Fort Mckinley was replaced by Fort Bonifacio.
