TRIBUNE: Binay warns PNP vs plan to expel Garcia Vice President Jejomar Binay drew the line yesterday on the current standoff at the Cebu Capitol over the Palace suspension order on Gov. Gwen Garcia as he said PNP Central Visayas regional director Chief Supt. Marcelo Garbo should abandon a plan to physically remove Gracia from the provincial capitol before Jan 1. Binay said the plan if carried out would be a "provocative act" that could heighten political tension in Cebu and will invite "counter-actions that could have political consequences beyond (Garbo's) control."
