PEOPLE'S JOURNAL: NO PROOF OF PLUNDER The plunder case filed by the Aquino administration against former president and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, was dealt major blow after an executive of the PCSO admitted there was no evidence Mrs. Arroyo profited from the agency's "confidential and intelligence fund." At last week's bail hearing of the accused at the Sandiganbayan, Aleta Tolentino, PCSO board member and an appointee of President Benigno Aquino to the board, admitted there is no money trail that would link the former president to the alleged "plunder" of the CIF during her term.
