ONE FOR THE BOOKS: Sardillo had reportedly lawyered for Benjamin Dy, who filed an election protest versus Padaca after the 2007 elections for Isabela governor. As a result of the protest, Comelec ruled Dy as WINNER and DENIED Padaca, who was accused of cheating, her second term as governor. De Lima was Padaca's election lawyer then. Aquino, who became president in 2010, later named THE LOSERS PADACA and DE LIMA to government posts.
