FWD - Sandiganbayan & gov't prosecutors should be aware that SPECIAL treatment is NOT the issue. It is about a sick person yet to be arraigned and presumed innocent until proven guilty. Abandonment of the state's responsibility to protect the rights of an ailing accused individual like the former president. Its denial for her to seek much needed medical attention and supervision while being tried is tantamount to premature judgement and violates her right to survive and live. Even a jailed convicted prisoner is accorded such humanitarian gesture. A fisher folk, a farmer or a former pres, every citizen is guaranteed by law the same rights and it is NOT SPECIAL. pls pas
