On Tuesday, Arroyo's lawyer cited the precedent case of deposed president Joseph Estrada in seeking a hospital arrest for the lawmaker. Estrada was jailed during the time of Mrs. Arroyo for the same offense she is facing now - plunder. In their 20-page urgent motion to allow Mrs. Arroyo to remain at the government medical facility, lawyers Maria Rosario del Rosario and Analene Balisong reminded the anti-graft court's First Division of Estrada's detention in 2007.
