PEOPLE'S JOURNAL: BRIDGE PROGRAM CRITIC SLAMMED
Breaking his silence, in a privilege speech Haresco charged Osmena with protecting the interest of a British firm supplier accused of padding P10 billion in its bridge project in the country. The solon said that OsmeƱa's personal attacks against him is to hide the "criminal" intent of British Supplier Balfour Cleveland (aka, Balfour Beatty, aka Cleveland Bridges UK) to defraud taxpayers and the Philippine govt because of its poor performance that resulted in a Php10-billion cost overrun.
