PHILSTAR - One of Corona's lawyers, Ramon Esguerra, lashed out at Budget Secretary Florencio Abad and lead prosecutor Iloilo Rep. Niel Tupas Jr. for their statements which already laid out the alleged basis for the conviction of the Chief Justice even before the defense had opportunity to counter the testimonies and evidence of the prosecution. Abad and Tupas have become "accuser and judge" when they announced last weekend that there was enough evidence to pin down the Chief Justice as the prosecution panel prepared to shift to another article of impeachment this week, Esguerra said.
