TRIBUNE: Atienza questions pork barrel allocation for QC councilors
- While the whole country is keenly monitoring the development on the investigation into the Priority Development Assistance Fund of the lawmakers allegedly channeled to non-existent non-governmental organizations, reports of distribution of pork barrel fund to Quezon City councilors caught Buhay partylist Rep. Lito Atienza by surprise as he aired serious reservations about its legality.
"The city council cannot appropriate something that its members will benefit from," said Atienza, a former mayor of the City of Manila.
