Re: Gov't Lawyers asking for dismissal of the Php25M charges against Padaca: It is not only surprising but equally disturbing that government lawyers are asking for the dismissal of the criminal charges when they are supposedly tasked to prosecute Padaca for a crime she committed before she was appointed comelec commissioner. Never in my many years with the service did government lawyers defended a government employee charged in the Sandiganbayan for graft and corruption. Que sera sera! Daan Matuwid ?
