The election fever has started with a Malacañang official and the vice president of the Philippines engaging in what can be called an indirect word war. Vice President Jejomar Binay on Monday lashed at critics who accuse his party, the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA), of pretending to be supportive of the administration, saying such tirade smacks of "old and dirty politics."
