The Liberal Party is engaged in a crackdown on its political opponents, an opposition senatorial candidate claimed yesterday. Zamb Rep. Mitos Magsaysay, a candidate of the UNA, said that apart from Cebu Gov. Gwen Garcia, the LP of Pres Aquino is allegedly persecuting local leaders of the opposition coalition.
