MLA STANDARD: KIT TATAD - REPLACING ENRILE
PNoy's relationship with Enrile is not much different from Cory's. Just as she owed him her presidency, PNoy owes him a Senate that cannot be accused of being intransigent, and which convicted and removed the Chief Justice on what some lawyers to this day insist was a non-impeachable offense. Although Enrile stood his ground against PNoy's Reproductive Health Act, the measure passed the Senate, and he did not pressure his congressman-son Jack (who wants to become his Senate colleague in May) to vote against it.
