- Former pres and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is badly dehydrated as she is wary to take any fluid orally. Cardiologist Dr. Roberto Anastacio said Mrs. Arroyo tries to avoid drinking as much as possible for fear that she might choke. "Natatakot na nga siyang uminom ng tubig ngayon kaya dehydrated na siya," He said the lower and upper titanium plates are dislocated, which obstruct airways and food. This stress could possibly affect Mrs. Arroyo's heart. He also recommended that a medical procedure available in the US and to correct the misalignment of the plates implanted Mrs. Arroyo's neck and spine.
