PHILSTAR: OMBUDSMAN REPORT CLEARS EX-PCSO OFFICIAL, GMA OF PLUNDER
One of the accused in a plunder case involving P365.9 million in intelligence funds of the PCSO has presented to the Sandiganbayan a report from Ombudsman prosecutors clearing her and Pamp Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and several others of the charges. Former PCSO GM Rosario Uriarte, a respondent in the case, submitted a copy of the 56-page document - called the Somido report - to the Sandiganbayan First Division as an attachment to a 22-pages appeal asking for a reconsideration of a decision junking her motion for judicial determination of probable cause.
