MANILA TIMES: With the Pasay Court granting Mrs. Arroyo her temporary liberty, it is also possible that the Sandiganbayan allow the former leader to post bail, a court official said. Sandiganbayan spokesman Renato Bocar said that the anti-graft court can also allow the lawmaker to post bail if evidence presented against her in the plunder complaint is weak. "That is the assessment of the court. If the evidence against Mrs. Arroyo is wanting or weak, she can be given the chance to also post bail like what happened in the Pasay RTC," said.
