"Electronic products, which account for the biggest share of total exports, continue to struggle," said Mr. Diokno in an e-mail, adding electronics needs to grow at least 23.8% this year to recover from last year's fall. "The consensus among economists is that the global economy is going to face stronger headwinds with the euro zone crisis deepening, the US economy either stagnating or slowing, and China's economy facing a hard landing."
