"It is our fervent hope that the recent events involving the rushed impeachment of Chief Justice Renato Corona will not intimidate the other members of the Supreme Court into toeing the line of the executive department under President Aquino, and that the justices of the highest court will remain 'at the chill and distant heights'...," their lawyer Ferdinand Topacio said.
