A populist government, like that of Fidel Castro of Cuba, and recently of Vladamir Putin of Russia, Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and Ivo Morales of Bolivia, is a communist inspired dictatorship  disguise as democratic w/c  will do anything including trampling upon the Constitution, disregarding rule of law and destroying democratic institutions like the Courts, Church, Military, Police, Local Autonomy, etc. to achieve its popular objectives. PNoy's gov't is no different, a mob rule. It is capitalizing on the alleged unpopularity of political personalities who are now persecuted, vilified and harassed in  order to keep afloat its own ratings. It can't last long and will soon consume its popular support, for in the long run, people will be awakened from temporal euphoria and rise upon the reality that poverty, corruption, and other societal ills are much worse than ever. Then PNoy and his men in order to continue its reign will rule with iron grips and our basic human rights, civil and political rights and other liberties will then be greatly curtailed and violated."
