A June 2830 SWS survey said 22.7 of 1,200 respondents nationwide claimed to have nothing to eat in the second quarter of the year. The 22.7 figure, which represents an estimated 4.9 million households, is higher than the first quarter record of 19.2 (3.9 million households).
