Latest SWS survey reveals fewer Filipinos went hungry in the last quarter of 2012. The survey, conducted last Dec 8-11 found 6.3% of the respondents claim to have gone hungry in the last 3 months. Militant group Kadamay, meanwhile, said the OVERALL HUNGER in the last quarter of 2012 as in the past years under the Aquino administration was still HIGHER than the 14-year average hunger incidence.
