PEOPLES JOURNAL: AMID the recent brouhaha involving DILG Usec Rico Puno, Malacañang faces another controversy over possible meddling in an election protest case. Lim stated that the person, whom he did not identify, called him about the election protest of retired SC Ass Justice Dante Tiñga against Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano which is currently pending before the Comelec's First Division of which he is a member. According to Comm. Lim, the person "relayed" to him that Malacañang is averse to the retrieval from the Taguig City Hall of the ballot boxes containing the protested ballots in the 2010 mayoralty election in the city.
